I've decided to continue to keep this blog going, although I'll just be updating on a monthly basis. January has been a nice mellow, rainy month... and I haven't been taking many pictures these days. I'll work on that next month, and hopefully I'll have a HUGE February post to compensate for a short one this month.
On my birthday this year, Vita and Ernie made me some special cupcakes. Here's a video of Vita helping to mix the batter while singing me happy birthday. When I finally woke up that morning, Vita walked in the room and sang the birthday song and handed me a card she made herself. She was so proud and it was really cute! Later that day, we went to the beach and we even went on the merry go round. You can see the joy on Vita's face!
This silly hat was a stocking stuffer from Ikea. I love Ikea.
We've had some pretty incredible storms this month, so whenever the sun comes out we try to take full advantage of it, and we often head back to the beach. These days Vita LOVES the beach, but it's so cold we have to bundle up and stay away from the water... and even then we can't stay long. I can't wait until summer time when we can really have fun building sand castles, splashing in the water and soak up the warmth of the sun.
